NYC Lookbook

This past weekend I was in the city two days in a row. Saturday I took my best friends (who are sisters) to the city for their birthday. We walked all throughout Central Park, Strawberry Fields, Bethesda Fountain and the Alice in Wonderland statue were the main attractions. Then we went to a lovely lunch at Rue 57, one of my favorite restaurants. Of course then we went shopping, Zara and Topshop.

Then I went back on Sunday with my parents, they are going to be on vacation here for a week and I came to visit. We went out to dinner at my all time favorite restaurant Redeye Grill.

WOW! June has been absolutely crazy. It has been nonstop between me ending my semester this past week and going to family gatherings (always a lot in June every year). I am finally on summer vacation and don’t go back again until October, so besides reading as many books as I can and watching Game Of Thrones, I will be posting as much more often.

Sephora Collection – Face Masks

These have been a life saver this month. The end of the semester is always hard and stressful and it is very important not to forget about your skin. They are so relaxing and cooling for the face. I am attempting to try all of the types.

H&M – Flared Skirt

This is the perfect summer skirt, perfect length and so flowly. It won’t stick to your skin and the color is very much in trend.

Banana Republic

I go to school near a Banana Republic outlet, and during one of my breaks I finally went there and fell in love with the store. They were having a huge sale and I picked up a few things. This black v-neck shirt is perfect for me because it has a thick material and feels so comfortable. If you have never been to Banana Republic you should definitely go and check it out.

Hair Care

Bumble & Bumble – Surf Spray

It’s offically summer! For me that means beach waves and there is no better way to get it naturally. I love that it comes in two sizes. I first got the small size to see if I liked it, and I did, so then I got the full size. The small one will go on vacations with me.

Music

Tori Kelly – Unbreakable Smile

I first discovered Tori Kelly when she opened for Ed Sheeran at Madison Square Garden in 2013. I loved her music ever since. I was so happy to see that she was finally coming out with a full length album. I love this album so much, she writes about real things and I love her lyrics.

Concert

I went to see Imagine Dragons and Halsey opened up. It was a last minute concert. I went because of Halsey (my new obsession, so I had to go see her even if she was just going to play six songs) but then fell in love with Imagine Dragons. They are some of the best performers I have ever seen and I can’t wait to see them play again.
